The Second Step is a personal interview with Patrick Orr. After you have gathered
all the information about what is involved with a Career in Real Estate, then
we need to meet and explore together if this profession is really for you.
At that time, you would have an opportunity to meet Patrick Orr, Broker Owner
of Eagle Real Estate, Inc.
I will take you on a tour of our office. So you would be able to see a live
real estate office in action! This tour would explain how the office functions
and how our technology and support staff is designed to support you as you learn
how to get your own business up and running.
You would be given a packet of detailed information regarding how our office
operates. This would include our policies and procedures as well as our commission
schedule.
You would have an opportunity to review with me all your questions and concerns;
and I would also have the opportunity to review and explore with you some detailed
in depth issues that will help address whether or not this career is really
for you.
Full time vs Part Time
Our Sales Agents are all Full time. We feel our customers and clients all deserve
a full time sales professional. Our commitment to this standard makes our company
stand out among the very few in East Central Indiana with such a high standard.
And that is part of the reason we have been about sell over $40,000,000 in houses
this past year alone with only 26 professionals!
You Must Have a Real Estate License
A part of the second step at the end of your interview with Patrick is to get
signed up for real estate school. This business is regulated by the Indiana
Real Estate Commission and they require that you go to school for 60 clock hours
to become qualified to sit for your licensing exam. Once you complete that course,
you can then take the test and become a licensed real estate agent. Our program
is for candidates planning on getting a license. If you do not have a license
now, that is alright…we will show you how to get it.
